Forgotten Hope Secret Weapon (FHSW) is an unofficial continuation of the famous Forgotten Hope (FH), a Battlefield 1942 modification. We say unofficial since FHSW is developed by FH fans, not the original FH creators. In 2007 it started as a small addon but since then it has grown to be one of the biggest mods of all time! What makes this mod special is that it adds lots of - but not only - Secret Weapons which saw limited or no action at all during WW2 like jet fighters and super heavy tanks. Some of the maps feature "what-if" battles like a landing operation on the Japanese mainland or attacking a secret German base in the African desert.

Is this also possible for FH2?
Well its not working so, due to engine limitations you have to chose the mod for laying in the weaponsbar: Lh6.ggpht.com (same problem as changing the firing mod from full to semi or slow) but you can use the Numpad for switching e.g. button1 in the weaponbar can be chosed by pressing 1, button2 by pressing 2,etc.
As for FH2: I don't know if it's possible on the BF2-engine, because it's way harder to mod on that engine
But I need to be next to wall to use the weapon?
Yes u need to be next the wall, fence, sandbag or whatever to use it and u can't go away from the wall,etc in that mod -> u need to switch back to one of the 'normal' modes to go away
Thats pretty cool, I think, I suggest that to the FH2 devs ;)
Are you going to make such a mod for FH2 too, or will you keep modding FH1?
I'm not a developer, if you have a question to the FHSW-devs post (in japanese, because only one of the fhsw-devs understands english) at the official FHSW-forum Fnavy.s256.xrea.com
But I think the answer is no. They keep modding on BF42
