This is a mod about the confilct between the Greek city-states and the Persian Achaemenid Empire in the years 495-479BC. The mod takes place in 485BC, between the Battle of Marathon and the Battle of Thermopylae. It will feature historical locations, persons and items, but it will not be defined by them. We try to combine historical accuracy with a fun gameplay and a novel experience.

CHANGELOG -More than 60 new items,including helmets,weapons,shields,greaves and cuirasses,many retextured items and horses and many additions to models -The Persians were balanced,so that not to be the killing unstoppable machines they were and they came to more 'human' levels -The Thracian troops received a complete make-over and most of the troops re-balanced,new elite troops added -The crossbows of the Arena were fixed -Fixed animation of the overhead spear,thanks to hoboistice -New shield animations,given to me by rgcotl from his excellent mod Rome at War -New interfaces -Fixed some parties that were inaccessible -Increased size of bandit parties and increased stats of certain bandits -Further customization options, with two new types of equipment.Bronze and Iron set cuirass and greaves, that can be combined with any piece of clothing of the mod. -New hairstyles and beards -Replaced some medieval props with ones from Jaako's OSP pack and much more...

Could you change 3 things? 1-that word type is very hard to read... 2-the castles and tournement places are not Greek, they are European which doesnt make sense in Ancient Greece. 3- Could you able the option to be a retainer in armys? I went to Leonidas very happy and suddently there are no option to become a retainer...

please work more about persian empires. parthian empire war with rome is exiting mode that we cant see it in the list of the mods.

How install?
Great mod. Just some suggestions: it would be really practical if you could include pre-battle orders, thus increasing the immersion of playing as a Greek phalanx. Moreover, I would suggest checking the geography, as Thessaloniki was not established until after Alexander's death, the closest town was Thermi. Lastly, the cherry on the cake for me, would an inclusion of more legendary armor sets, such as a complete Athenian marine set or Spartan hoplite set. Overall, keep up the great work and thanks for such an amazing mod.

wow man my historical mods for M&B warband is complete because of this nice job cool mod great work bro if the mod authors of 1776 america revolution continue thier update to that mod and the 1860 old america civil war then i have the mods that is historical that are complete but unfortunately they didnt so its stuck i guest the last up of those mod last year and lastx2 year so great work to this mod ^^
