The Vaul Class Escort Carrier is a recent addition to the Sith war fleet, and one of their most simple ones technologically. The Vaul is little more than a medium sized frigate equipped with fast tracking blaster cannons and most of its internal space replaced with small hangar bays from which to deploy fighters. Despite how simple its design is, it is a valuable addition to the fleet due to its ease of construction and ability to rapidly and safely deploy fighters to any combat situation. Ideal for escort duty of lighter warships or interdictors and garrisoning low risk planets.
