Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
During thunderstorm with Lightnings some close strikes were missing...
This is a first Test of an implementation, so i can see how they interact with environment and terrain and physic and damage and fire and .... .
OFCOURSE the frequency will be drastically lowered in real Game ;)
the idea is, that player have to search for an shelter during bad weather, or take the consequences.
ah, you see also that devkid now can create an real savegame image, the actual selected savegame will also show some important informations about the savegame (progress, playingtime, last added unsolved Mission).
if you think there is an important information missing, let me know it here :)
This lightning + the rainstorm = A good reason to seek shelter :)
what do you think, need this to be anounced somewhere or should player find out such special thinks by self ?
I'm not sure. Probably don't say anything .. or hint that the storms are quite dangerous. But I'd not mention death by lightning directly ^^

timing will be very trick
maybe you can add a lot of lightnings in an area after destroying some kind of power plant
during bad weather or did you mean all the time ?
i mean for example, the player destroy the power plant and that affect the weather in the area (always bad weather), and add for that event, the random single lighting strike in whole game
bruh, like an destroyed experimental weather manipulating station ?
but this would lead in an "once done, died very quickly, reloading, not touching the station" ...
would this be worth the effect ?
