Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.
Testplay from another base which is stuffed out with enemies. I wanted to see, if the enemies after streaming react correct to player and use the environment as expected.
i'm very, very happy as i can say: it is much better than i have expected.
entity streaming: basically, if i left a sector, all entities (also enemies), gets totally deactivated, and, if i come back, they will again be activated and rendered.
this makes possible to have a nearly endless amount of enemies in a map without any performancedrop at no time.
Now this is another good news.
better than you think: the complete project would be death if this would not be working. than i would have to change the maps to corridorstyle so player have to kill really every activated AI like in original FarCry to keep the FPS save.
