sorry for beeing silent last weeks, i was very busy with finishing the codebase for the mod. i actually i can say, the code is done to 99.9 % .
this is the last techvideo which shows some stuff i added last days: a mouse UI-based codepad trigger and the possibility to walk between maps.
it's not a simply load map, it's something between load map + load savegame but keep current playerstuff. it's way, waaaaaaaaaaaaay more complicated in code than it sounds, but finally it's working:

it is basically a trigger which you place in your map, give the name of the map you want to load and if you like, the name of a identical trigger on that map, then the player will be teleported to that trigger by keeping all his stuff. if you now walk BACK from that map by just activating the identical trigger there, the magic begins :)
the video shows it, and as far as i can see, it looks flawless like it was all the time to be like that :)

i needed about 16 hours for the mouse based keypadtrigger, 8 hours for forcing the engine to keep players inventory and all the attachements you can have in devkid and 10 hours for walking between maps.
i really does not wanted to post this boring stuff but it's so silent here.
thank you for reading :)

ah, and ignore the ladder part, i know in vanilla farcry ladders always catch players, but not in devkid, here you have basically press use for all interactions, but that lead to problems with ladders by climbing down, so i inserted a switch so ladders use now best of both worlds.

Don't worry, everyone has their life and people will understand if you don't post updates on a weekly basis. There's mods that keep silent for years and people still follow them, a little break or delay is understandable.

Great work and its good to hear that the code is almost done!

Also, don't worry about updates. There are a lot of mods, who doesn't update for almost a whole year, and they only update it once, or they don't even have a time for that. Some update only once in a two years, even if they are making a huge project.
