Fallout Atlanta mod for Fallout: New Vegas

Hello all, Its time for another Fallout Atlanta Dev blog. It been a busy last month ever since the last update went live. The update was suppose to be pretty low key however a few different news articles picked up on it. Such as PC gamer , comic book and dsogamming. Linked below.

The coverage was great and dowloads, endorsement and views went up on the mod. In fact it was the biggest month for the mod in-terms of all these things. The total downloads for the month was 658. The next biggest month was 135. It also gained 10k page views. This stats give you a bit of background to how it blow up really over a couple of days. It also got mentioned on reddit.

The downside to this was that an old video I put on youtube when the project started a few years back got a lot of negative attention. It got a lot of views also but a lot of dislikes. It currently about 50/50 like to dislike ratio. The video was recorded pretty low quality with my last laptop so was pretty crappy in all honestly. This lead me to sort of panicking. So in a day I made the current Fallout Atlanta Announcement trailer ; Youtube.com It took me a few hours to make but the quality was a lot higher. And to me was pretty cool. I also made the brand new youtube channel ; Fallout Atlanta Youtube.com Feel free to subscribe as there will be some new content soon.I felt I had to get a new video out because of the negative attention that the other video received. I do want to show gameplay of the mod , but Obviously this will take a lot longer too make.
I do have some good idea's though. I wan't do a lot more youtube. Making the video was actual quite fun and I think the end result was worth it. More artwork will be commissioned also. I have some concept artwork in-line and also some 8-bit artwork. I posted this to twitter and the discord if you want to check it out.

The new update 0.35 is out now. Mainly focusing on fixing some bugs and also Landscaping. I've done some terrain texturing as well. This is only a smaller update to tide things over until update 0.40 witch fingers crossed with be massive and finished until before Christmas. Ideal it be out in October but we'll just have too see about that. Got plenty of ideas some big things will be happening in this update.
