Kingdom of Damara - Noble Hearts Knights image - Faerûn/Forgotten Realms/Total War mod for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms
Long since in development, Faerun Total War is finally going to make a first release. A mod for M2TW Kingdoms, set in the world of Forgotten Realms, in the vast continent of Faerun. While our campaign is being reworked, the first release is focusing on custom battles.
The Kingdom of Damara is a new faction coming in the next release of Faerun: Total War, its roster was made starting in early February 2020 and finishing in late July 2020, it was the faction made after the Empire of the Shadowar had been completed, and the faction made just before development started in late 2020-2021 on Chondath, the creator is Assurbanippal, but the roster itself never got implemented into the mod before WarcraftHero implemented the faction back in October/November 2020- it was one of the factions supposed to be in the unreleased 2021 update 0.3.
I did add the captains and generals and change some stats around..
We have already seen the unit cards and the unit_info cards for the majority of their units, but the roster previewed by Vladyvid/Wizard_of_Turmish in 2020 was not their entire roster - they had about a third cut from the faction back then - lots of household troops that were planned to be another faction for a while because the faction was so large, but these cards do not show the units in detail and you can't see the alternate models of the units. There are often more models than one in a unit, and the unit cards only show one.
So the entire faction of the Kingdom of Damara is brand new, and the faction is a Human Medieval Kingdom using units like household knights, crusaders, militia etc. It's essentially a crusader state faction or a faction of medieval knights - it's new in terms of being unreleased, but has been in a WIP since late 2020.
The "Nobe Hearts Knights" is the best heavy knight cavalry unit out of all the Damara mounted knight units, and is also the best unit out of the order of the Heart Knights. It is likely that the bodyguard will be unique for the generals, the Noble Houses (Blue, Yellow and Red) will be regional troops from specific areas on the map, and the Heart Knights and the Golden Cup will be the more common elites.
