Long since in development, Faerun Total War is finally going to make a first release. A mod for M2TW Kingdoms, set in the world of Forgotten Realms, in the vast continent of Faerun. While our campaign is being reworked, the first release is focusing on custom battles.

Please add map "plain" in custom battles. And you can borrow cities architecture from WOW on first time, but this is optional.

Where can i find this battle-map?

Also, I can't use any cities from WoW because i don't have the skills to import cities from outside of Medieval 2 - I can import cities from other Medieval 2 mods, but not from World of Warcraft - if I could I would have done that to Warcraft: Total War - but it's mostly using re-skinned custom settlements or vanilla settlements from other mods like Hyrule or Warhammer.

You can find this map in standart M2TW. Good map for fast custom battles and testing units. I mean You can take cities from somewhere at first time, but it doesn't matter. Just I want to take next version as fast as possible. Sorry if I offend.

Alright, Faerun isn't my mod so i'm not gonna add new things that have been removed by the original modders, or that they might not want in the mod.

The goal is to add the rest of the factions and their units for now, then their strat-model generals and agents, then their recruitment- after that it might be released without the vanilla map (that map was removed because the creators wanted custom maps) and without any custom settlements.

Custom settlements could of course be added later but it's not on the current list of things to do. And as I said from me you'd never get anything from outside of Medieval 2. I would need someone else to import the cities from WoW and get them into the game. Third Age: Total War has many modders with skills like that, Game of Thrones has one modder who knows that stuff -Faerun and Warcraft have zero modders with those skills.

Description

I've remade all the unit cards of the faction known as the Kingdom of Aglarond, using the picture here on MODDB of the cards.

The Kingdom of Aglarond is a mix between Humans and Wood/Moon Elves. This roster also includes female Elves just like Cormanthyr's roster making it the 2nd roster with female units. The Kingdom of Aglarond roster is as old as February 2017 based on the thread at TWC- so it's about time it will be inside the mod. The models were made between early February 2017 and late March 2017.

This faction took me longer due to many of the models having black-colored parts that had to be filled in after I did remove the black backgrounds. It also had 3 more units.

I've added the unit_info-cards.

The plan currently is to remake the 0.3 Update and release that, and then continue on from there with the rest of the mod -by doing this we can have a smaller update with what was promised in 2021 first- before doing all the other factions.

The 0.3 update will include what was promised in the article by Wizard of Turnish, and possibly strat-models for the generals and the captains - as for other factions like the Rashemen and the Thayan Nation, I'll probably remove them from custom battle for the moment as they lack their cards, or I'll keep them there but they won't be in the campaign.

The Elves of Cormanthyr and Damara factions will also be included with cards and added to the campaign, but only the units Vladyviid/Wizard of Turnish had made cards for will be in the campaign with their cards.

Cards originally created by Wizard of Turnish, Models made by Assurbanippal and they were implemented into the games code in 2020 by WarcraftHero.
