This mod is set in Games Workshop's, great Warhammer 40,000 ( 40k ) universe. Each map pits Imperial Space Marines against the Tyranid swarm and the Legions of Chaos, competing in a series of mission objectives, culminating in a battle to decide the fate of the planet. The first alpha test of version 7.58 had a great turnout. EX really is so much more fun with a crows of players. This game on ex_orbital got pretty hectic with the teams so well balanced that neither could make it through this hallway, so it ended up as massive meat grinder.
Here we see the marines trying to make a wall of bodies to block the only entrance to the cathedral of control, trying to prevent the Tyranid swarm form overrunning the station.
