wow. this is really cool. You should have the giant bird look at you too if you shoot at it. That would scare me to death. lol
no offence but the legs and whatnot look a bit too mechanical and straight to me, thay should be like big tentacles that like absorb into the side of the pod
they're more like tendons or connective tissue than legs

ChromeAngel is right. The Tyranids are a bit of a cross between a dinosaur and an insect. They tend to look a little like cyborgs that spew acid (I guess that's not a very good example but whatever.) The point is Tyranids naturally look a little machine-like. Look at this link.

looks suspiciously like a combine dropship's troop pod heh. i dont blame ya tho, would be hard to make a completely new NPC for that.
