This is a personal extended add-on for XWWII 2.6;
I'm developing it and will release a demo on 2021.11.10;
The next version would be released on 2022.04.10;
When You are designing the battle-map of "The victory at PingXing Mountain-Pass 25th September, 1937 (平型關大捷)" in ShanXi Province of Northern China,
better firstly to dig a very deep and narrow "U-shaped" bent concave narrow canal(dent) between two high cliffs for the japs to pass through, the japs were a logistic-transporting team consisted of infantries, trucks and armoured-cars,
and then, several capturable flags can be set up along that narrow canal(dent) for either the japs or the Chinese Eighth-Route Army's 115th regiment to siege and capture,
since this battle of PingXing-Pass was a sudden-ambush battle by the Chinese troops from the top of the high cliff-edge above,
the real "spawn-points" of the Communist Chinese troops(the Allied-faction) should be set "invisible" to the japs(the Axis-faction) so as to not letting the jap-side knowing where the Chinese will exactly spawn,
this can be achieved by cancelling the exact Chinese head-quarter's flag-icons on the mountain tops from the map to conceal their exact locations in front of the japs' view.
* In conclusion, the entire layout of this map should look like this:
The jap's logistic-transporting team driving through that U-shaped long, narrow and deep vent between two high cliffs,
while the Communist Chinese troops spawn from several "invisible head-quarters on the mountain plateau" and attack the japs from those high-positions above with plenty of grenades/explosives and guns at the cliff's edges to strafe and bomb the entire jap-infantry-and-vehicle-mixed horde which was passing-through at below.
In conclusion, during WW2, the "insurgencies/opponents" of Communist Chinese guerrilla troops include both the japs and Nationalist Chinese troops, sadly, although peripherally both these two Chinese political-parties had agreed to unite together to resist japs' invasion, they sometimes still would fight against each other because of internal power-and-land-rivalry and political-statement-quarrels.
However, honestly-speaking, in terms of the contribution on fighting against japs' invasion, the K.M.T.-Nationalist-Chinese-troops took up a much larger portion of at least over 80% of efforts and sacrifice in killing the jap-invaders, while the Communist-Chinese-troops only at most contributed 20% to the anti-jap war of China comparing to that of the K.M.T.-Nationalists. This is the real historical fact.

Yes, and that would be a challenge;
