When a shot is fired, a small light is given out. This is what it looks like before and after.

i will but if they think that at this level its good its actually the exact opposite. ive shot guns smoke definetly doesnt comeout the barrel a large concventrated flame does. in fact the only gun ive ever seen smoke from was a 22. breach loader after you fired it and you opened up the breach a very small amount of smoke would come out
I don't know what kind of guns you shoot, but smoke definitely comes out of the barrel of my m16, and all of my personally owned weapons for that matter. Pistols or rifles.
well out of my 9mm it doesnt out of my 3 12 gauges it doesnt and out of my 17 it doesnt. wewll smoke comes out but it doesnt come out the barrel at least it come out wherever the shells eject

do you really think anyone buys that BS? almost every gun iv seen shot or shot on the range myself has smoked any amount. i hope that you arent another one of those "im gonna post a useless comment cuase i have to much time on my hands" guys.
It's not meant to be smoke that is shown off in this screen. It's meant to be the light. And I think that wil look realistic in game. :P
You have never seen real muzzle flash. Did you?

I fired an F88 Steyer Aug and smoke came out every shot.
I´ve got a tip for you. If you wanna have realistic muzzle flash , do not make it movie-ish and make it emit smoke. It is very realistic. So do not listen to guys that are disliking your muzzle flash. I think that it is perfect.
