Good job. Everything looks good, other than the fingers. Whats up with those?

The animations kinda suck on the original v_hands.mdl
Uck. Textures don't blend seamlessly with the UV or at all, really. Vertex assignment errors... Did you re-rig the hand even though it wasn't necessary?
If you can fix the textures on the hands and use the default rig then you can just make a simple sleeve model and easily add it in place of the HEV arms. Would go a long way and would be easy as hell to do.
Sorry that they don't fit. It was because john did not make the UV match.
Lol these are the HEV arms i recognize them at a closer look its just a texture job.
note down the arms you can see the model details of the HEV arms.

what you need is a whole new hand model. shouldn't be too hard if you know how. then it'd be really cool.
organic modelling is hard.
Real life hands have better graphics than these, sry! :(
