Hey I'm new to this game and to using Mods. A little bit of help would be appreciated!

So I got the game from Steam and I got a file that lets me use my Windows 10 to play the game. Once I got that down to where I can play the game, I downloaded Evolution of Combat 4. So I ran the setup file and for some reason, I didn't get to decide where the files go. So I still let it Setup...

The files ended up going into ProgramFiles(x86) > LucasArts > StarWarsJediKnightAcademy > GameData. Which I thought was right. So I try to run the game and the Mod doesn't show up. So after doing some research I find that the files need to be in ProgramFiles(x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > StarWarsJediKnightAcademy > GameData. But after I placed those files into that folder I try to run the game and the mod is there. Excitedly I start the Mod and it crashed every time.

Any ideas??? Thanks! :)

Also is there a way to hook a controller to my PC to play this or no?

Hi there, so when you set the directory for installation did the file say \Steam\steamapps\common\jedi academy\GameData\GameData? If so and it had an extra "\GameData" at the very end then it installed the mod in a subfolder within the game data folder and it tends not to work when you do that. It already adds the \GameData directory variable by default so the best thing to do is you just choose the Jedi Academy folder overall and not any of its sub folders. If when you do the installation and it says the "this folder already exists do you want to continue" click yes because that means that it installed in Jedi Academy's GameData folder correctly. In terms of hooking up a controller I've been using a 360 controller for my game with a really good program called pinnacle game profiler. Its 10 dollars after a 30 day trial but it is well worth it because its an very useful software. Many games come preconfigured in it with there own controller configurations but you can also create your own configurations from scratch. It very seamlessly lets you play pc games with a controller including jedi academy and i've found it is better than x padder. Hope this helps

Hey thanks for responding. I was able to solve the issue though. I didn't use the right app to start the game. Now all I gotta do is figure out the game. Thanks man. :) Hopefully that app works good for a ps4 controller then ill be able to use it. Ill make sure to keep everyone posted on my use of the game to help further develop this awesome mod.
