Hosting EoC Thread - Evolution of Combat IV mod for Star Wars: Jedi Academy

I recently returned to JKA after being away from the game for a long time. This happened because of the new star wars movie I needed my lightsaber fix I guess lol... I found my old JKA box and CDs and reinstalled the game.

I am looking to host a server in the EU area and am interested in perhaps hosting this modification. Is there anyone that can approach me about this ? I would like to know:

- How bug free is multiplayer ?

- How difficult would it be for people to have the client side version installed so they can join ?

- Will you support me in getting the server setup ? (I work in the IT so I won't need alot of help but again its been 10 years since I played JKA)

Hi Ðaimyo,

multiplayer is relatively bug free, there are occasional issues but not too frequent. We're launching a new patch on Friday/Saturday which fixes a lot of issues so you might want to wait until then.

When the patch is released we're also updating the installer from people's feedback, now it's just simply download, choose your JKA GameData folder and click install. Very easy setup.

If you need help setting up the server yeah sure I'll help. I saw you joined the Discord so if you need any help just PM me there and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Ya I jumped into Discord to perhaps have a conversation, seems most of my questions are answered though if I have any further questions I will let you know in the discord chat area ! I think it would be great to have some EU representation of this mod. My clan have requested that I at the very least include their name somewhere in the server as well I hope you are ok with that also, obviously any mod credit etc will remain in place and given to yourself and the original dev
