I like to announce EVE: RTS (work name) It's a mod about EVE Online developed by myself, featuring ships and other objects directly from the original Game. Models and Textures were extracted using TriExporter. CCP confirmed that I can use their Artwork. (see end of summary)

the jump/stargates in EVE should have models he can pull like the ships ;-\

Jep, simply lacked time and motivation to do so ...
In addition, the whole script should work before I start to play with different Gates.

At the moment only AI needs to be fixed- every thing else Working =D

Description

I wrote a comment a few days ago telling most of the story.

There is still some work to do, but what to expect from only 3 hours of scripting.

Current Status:
Sectors can have a vertain amount of Gates
(mapping, 8 currently, performance should be limit here)
Gate Positions are determined automatically by connection Vector calculation and Sector Size.
They can not be reconnected, are invincible and can not be selected.

Still to do:
- Connection managemen:
The Gates allow only attack at the moment.
This means ... you can jump in an enemy sector, but you won't be able to get out.

I like to change it so, that you can return if the Gate on the other side is yours.
