We've come a long way, we have fought in the warm sands of North Africa, in the mountain villages of Italy, we have crossed the beaches and hedgerows of Normandy and bleeding in the dutch tulip fields...we are in 1945, the winter is over and the battle of the bulge has ended (great job, Halftrack ), the Allies prepare to cross the rhine and the Germans will fight to defend their homeland ...

The goal of adding this new front is to improve historical accuracy, so that more late vehicles can be placed in the corresponding period.(M24 chaffee, M26 pershing, T26E1 super pershing, Jagdtiger, nashorn, flammhetzer, jeep calliope and others...) This will reduce the available vehicles in Normandy and Holland, but also allow use most modern tanks in normal games.

Give me your opinion.

Yeah if you mean Pacific Thunder mod for CoH OF...

We can also play the Far East War mod: Moddb.com

It's not same that mod that based on Pacific, actually Pacific mod for CoH1 will be very hard to develop because there is no base for jungle enviroment stuff...
Somebody may correct that is there is?

Oh and I played this mod few minutes ago and remember now how goot it is...
Actuyally after given one huge beach defence map as SGB and get it work in mod...

Wanted to say: 6.1.8 beta work well... Don't wanna say "hurry" but want ask: How long time it will take when full 6.1.8 eill come out?

Because the only tanks that had the US army in normandy were M4A3 sherman (including the 76mm and 105mm variations), m10 wolverine and m18 hellcat. Tanks like jumbo or m36 "jackson" were delivered in September.

Dobovleniya new front approve. And wanted to ask, whether added in any future nebud Polish front in 1939 and French front in 1940? I Poneman that the fighting was not really a lot, but many would still be interesting to take part in them.

Love the idea Dartborne, just feed me more goodies for the best COH mod EVER!

Any chance of Special tanks like the Brit A39 Tortoise and the Black Prince.

Another question will the next release be fully in tune with the new COH steam relaunch version, as since ive transfered to this version i seem to get alot more crashes.

The problem is that desura wont accept the file C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe and wants me to verify it. when i do so , it only goes up to 44% then"ready" but i have to do it again and still same thing, thats the "real"problem right now.

Will there be a version of the mod where all units are available on all maps?

I see the succession of WWII going on, but some of my favorite maps are in France.

This is practically impossible: the number of units in the mod is incompatible with production slots in the structures. Also many units would be obsolete compared to others more modern.
EaW want be a historical mod, this is more realistic and funny because makes you adapt to battle with weapons and vehicles used in that historical period

What if units from the African Campaign (Desert Rats and Afrika Korps) were not included in the "all unit version"? I really just want to keep fiddling around with the units that served in the liberation of France, Netherlands, and Germany.

I know that you are going for historical accuracy, but would it really be necessary to pull units from France and Holland? I'm fine with how the units are set up now in the maps, but I don't want to be left out new units and features.

Sorry if my message gets confusing, by the way

In Normandy maps there will be a specific units and doctrines, in holland some units are replaced by more modern, the airborne company only have paratroopers and British tanks from XXX corps. in Italy are older units(1943-45), uniforms adapted to this front and most modern units are disabled. In germany will add many late units were not present until the end of the war. Each front has specific units depending on the period, many others are common to all.

Hey Dartborne, could you remove or lengthen the time limits on the special missions included in the mod (Joint Ops, etc).

You have set ridiculously short timeframes for ridiculously difficult tasks. 7 minutes to rush an 88mm AT gun and a suicide charge a 37mm AA gun (With only 2 squads and a sniper), 5-6 minutes to capture a bridge that is defended by machine guns, snipers, and elite infantry?

It makes no sense.

Hi Dart ::) First i adore your mod and thanks for it, it's my 2nd fav mod after Normandy 44, i just love how the game play flows and all is just so good in MP.The AI is awesome in skirmish and mod makes campaigns feel great!I love the doc. tree's mostly UK as i'm fond of good old Brits::)

BUT i have to ask, can we still play old 2602 version for us who host LAN games?.... you know that feature that is lacking in soooo many games thanks to steam........ and stupid developers.

Other than that keep it up i love your mod tho if there are MP replays one could look at, it would be awesome to see. And that brings me to this so i don't forget ::P Why, oh why, dont i see videos of MP matches for your mod?? it just way too good to not have it on YouTube??

New content is wonderful, and always appreciated, but as I am sure you know, the AI is atrocious.
I have no clue how difficult modding the AI is for COH, but I think far too many games (...or mods) rush new content without consolidating and bugfixing.
This is probably because bugfixing is difficult, time consuming, and not fun, and adding new content is easier, quicker, and is much more fun.
I'm not saying that's what you've done...but all light vehicles suicide and the Axis don't even build tanks man come on.

My 2 cents aside, Beta 2 AI is INFINITELY better than beta 1 AI, keep it up.

Certainly, AI codding is very complicated (at least for me) the slightest error can ruin the entire AI or make it stop working, and gives a lot of headaches to find the error and correct it. At least be slightly improved in the next patch (the axis AI build tanks)
