The Enduring Freedom project is aiming to bring realistic combat simulation to the GEM 2 engine and is focused on the units involved in the initial coalition combat ops during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan (Special Forces, 10th Mountain Div, and 101st Airborne). Conventional warfare will be presented as well. Project features and info can be located in the news section.

thats a good question actually wilson. have you done anything to overhaul the flight system in the game? if so can you give us a short explanation of what exactly you have done or perhaps plan to do? im sure everyone would be interested in this if you are planning to do it, seeing as the aircraft system in MOW is terrible!
The existing flight system does definitely leave something to be desired... Once more air units are in game we will begin tailoring the flight mechanics to our liking (as much as we can). With this just being a mod, quite a bit is hardcoded and is not accessible without a license to sell/distribute/modify the game engine to do what we want.
so for the use of the A10 etc in your campaign, im going to assume that you are going to script it to act as best you can with the tools that are available to you? either way dude, if it works, it works, so do whatever you think is best.

I hope , well , for you to implement SAMs missiles as well , or els the planes will be way too overpowered .....
And yeah , is it really possible to make SAM missile that really function like locking on to the target ?
Or are you going to make a the speed of the rocket very high so the planes can't dodge them?
This is yet to be determined.
