The last part of our rework, the mighty Veterans of Khazad-Dûm. Oriented on some weta artworks, linked with own ideas and interpretations.
Combine your own equipment to pursue your desired tactic. Heavy armed, ready to march and feared and skilled in battle, they will sweep away your enemies.

I have to admit that I am kinda sad and really will miss the Erebor Armor from the Movie! :(
The Arkenguard is using exactly the Erebor design of the movies.
Wouldn't it been a waste to give the veterans of Khazad-Dûm the same armor as the Erebor faction instead of giving them an unqiue design to represent Khazad-Dûm as it is written: an own dwarven realm?
Personally i think the Veterans of Khazad-Dûm shouldn't look like the other realms to symbolize their special position in the faction. Remember that each realm has access to the Veterans of Khazad Dums. Would it not seem strange when the Iron Hills getting their heroic unit with Erebor design and the realm of Erebor getting their heroic unit with Erebor design too?

All I said is that I liked the the previous model because it was good but I like the new one just as much!Please don't misunderstand me! :-)

I am glad to hear it! :-) And honesty I can't find something to criticize in this Model! The quality is on Max the Details are awesome but as most Edain Models I miss them all since they are really great! :-)

So if my memory serve the now Golden Veterans of Khazad dum can have four set of different weapons, axe, warhammer, sword and mace each weapon can have a shield. really jice thanks ET

My Lord Dain you actually have a point but the erebor armor is maybe a bit out of place because it comes out of the depths of the Kazad Dum and not erebor. But i think it would be nice to see both armors perhaps a random trigger: once in time golden, once in time silver when the veterans arrive on the map. (If it is possible i don't now a thing about modding) This was supposed to be a reply to LordDainOfIronHills
Of course I agree that the Armor was somewhat out of place ! I just meant that I will miss that cool AUJ Armor that's all! :-)
Otherwise I love the new look! :-)
I will miss the old veteran model, I will miss the even older veteran models and I will miss the old models of Ered Luin and the Iron Hills.
Nonetheless I really like all the new designs.

I must admit that personaly I will need some time to used on this new models, because I have played so many games with old veterans. :)
I really like details, beard is amazing, its shape and color are correlated with experience of these old warriors. Great job guys!
Personally I just don't like why you choose yellow as one of colors. With your last update I correlate yellow with Erebor, mainly because its wealth.
I would more like to see somekind of white or white-gray (correlated with wealth of Khazad dum, mithril) instead of yellow color on these models. Have you thought about that guys?
With this yellow they are similar in one way to arkenguard. I say in one way, ofc they are different in general.
Is that little horn on their belt? Does it have some usage or it is more as decoration? :)

PS. New sword in weapons arsenal. Does this mean that now we will have 4 weapons as choice on these fighters? What are sword's properties? :)

Wait, what was wrong with old ones? I actually really liked them, they have heavy plate armor with full helmet, this model is really great but looks like armored guardian

they look good but not like veterans i think they should have more darker color and no yellow and they should have a mithril shirt
i think war masks would be great on them as they are war and expendition veterans ! for one more time great job et ! or an edited Edain style helmet which will be unique for them and not compaired to erebor ! just thoughts

It's more about the armour (which looks awesome), colours can be changed if they do not suit, the armour and weapons are what matter most.
I especially enjoy the curve in the hammer and the blade design.
