The Battle for Middle-earth has just begun! The Edain Mod returns to the classic gameplay of the first Battle for Middle-earth, reimagined with countless new heroes, units and abilities. Journey deeper into Tolkien's world than ever before, relive the movies through meticulously crafted visuals and forge your path to victory in epic strategic battles. Follow your destiny... Middle-earth awaits.
The goblins of Moria under the leadership of the chieftain will be more clearly distinguishable from the wild goblins from the lairs in the future. Moria goblins recruited in fortresses and camps will wear a black armor, which will give them an advantage when creeping around in the darkness of Khazad-dûm. As the chieftain's troops, these goblins are more disciplined and take care to keep their armor free from rust.
Drums drums in the deep...!
They look nice- I- I mean terrifying! Especially their equipment!
Love the new armor, good work!
The armor looks very flat. I'd recommend attacking this with a dodge brush to create some highlights on the edges, maybe use a splatter brush (also on dodge) here and there to simulate some better roughness. Ingame, these are going to look like dark grey blobs.
Edit: I'm also seeing some very tiny skulls hanging from the drum. Those look the right size when the drum is used by the troll, but for the goblin they should probably be removed (or scaled up).
Omg!
Your counsels are very welcome!! As I always said, its gorgeous when I see both teams supporting each other!!
Have a nice week, Mathijs!
Excellent advice! I thought both the wild, and Moria goblins looked fantastic already. But it's great that you want to help support the mod with some good model design tips.
