A base of Mordor, much like you know it from the first Battle for Middle-Earth game. However, at its center now stands a mighty fortress of the Dark Lord to repel invaders.

nice, i always felt that mordor and isengard were disadvantaged when it came to castles. the fortress should help even the odds a bit

The Mordor and Isengard are more offensive, focusing on attacking, where as the Rohan and Gondor factions are more defensive
Yes... It is true but it is really shame because the game playing stradegy had to be quick with the Mordor and Isengard and there will not be any time for building the infrastructure. Thats what I and my friends enjoyed about battle of middle earth 1. I really hope that you dont do that, but it is your mod and it is lot more better than the official battle of middle earth.

Walls for Mordor and Isen would make no sense... they are an offensive faction, with strong offensive units. Try turtling with Mordor and you'll get slaughtered. What would you do with the walls? Put the MARVELOUS, STRONG and EXTREMELY LONG RANGED orc archers on it? that wouldn't work out... Also, most of Mordor's fortress in Middle Earth were built up with the power of the ring. And Isengard was built by Gondor (correct me if I'm wrong) when they used the black strong rocks of the area and in that they "shaped" the tower of Ortanc waaay before it was crawling with Uruks. Therefore, the fortress in the middle should be the best they can get without all these previous advantages.
