We decided on purple as the colouring scheme for the dwarfs of Ered Mithrin, so that it's a clearly different colour hue in comparison to the other dwarf realms thus providing a clear distinction, moreover it can easily be associated with the overall red hue of the Iron Hills designs.
The pikes of the Hunters and the morning star of the Dragonslayers allowed us to use more design patterns from the Hobbit-movies. However, the basic design of the armour elements is oriented towards our former Veterans-design from prior versions.

Awsome Models but that Morning Star is not in my taste for Dwarvish Style but hey it doesnt change the fact about how good the idea and the models are! :)

Maybe you should consider redesigning the morningstar a little, this current one is too "evil" since its shape reminds me of iron crown and Angmar
