A visual rework of the Chanteuse.
In addition their system has been changed, whereby they are able to cast only one ability whose effects are reinforced with every addition Chant. Earlier, the three songs have superimposed which has acted strangely and was too complex for the player. Now the song feels like a cannon, what the players in the game does not bother anymore. The more Chanteuse sing, the more visual effects appear to nearby units.
Chant: The Chanteuse begins singing in a beautiful voice for 30 seconds, encouraging nearby allied troops. All other Chanteuses nearby will also begin singing.
If 1 Minstrel is singing, allies gain +15% armor and damage.
If 2 are singing, allies also fear resistance.
If 3 are singing, allies also gain restistance to knock back and trample
The Chant can now be carried out even during the movement, which improves the system and facilitates control.
Ladies oh ladies <3
Sindarin Maiden wandering throughout the Golden Wood, singing holy chants of Joy and Endurance.
I'm sure that this new design will mark definitely more their unique characteristics and role in their own faction ;)
I'm a little confused. Aren't they supposed to heal?
Very nice design anyway!
Currently they wont heal. Lorien troops have a passive ability at level 2 called "lembas bread", which heals them constantly.
But we are open for suggestions. If you think some heal effect would fit in a better way, discuss with our community on modding union:

Gladys maidens? Nice. :D
According to the lore, Galadriel has indeed a variegated and significant court of Elven Maiden helping her in various activities :)
Can someone please explain to me what these people are im not too familiar with elven lore in lotr
two months late but they are chanters, they sing to boost the morale of the elves, in the Silmarilion, it is noted that elves sang during the fall of gondolin (last elven city of the north), they were outnumbered 1/100000, and yet they fought till the very last, they had only fought because of Ecthelion and Glorfindel as well as the instrumentalists and chanters of the elven civilians that stayed behind and forgot to mention Turgon the High King of Noldor at the time. In sense, Galadriel taught her Noldarin Culture to the Sindarin Elves when she married Celembrimbor, who was also a descendant of the Noldor. if you don't know what Noldors are they are High Elves that ascended upon the shores of the Undying lands, Sindars are the Grey Elves that stayed behind that rekindled themselves upon the stars instead of going to the undyinglands, my facts could be slightly wrong, been a while since I've read some tolkien lore.
These models are beautiful. I always had a weak spot for elven ladies, im sure Ill fit them well on my army compositions.
Question: are they slowed down or take more damage while chanting?
Because if they are not, there is no utility to not having them chant right away upon training except increase the ammount of actions I must do per minute.
The chant is a temporary ability with a cooldown, so you can't do it all the time.
Nice model and it will also help with the cavalry problem of lothlorien.
Chanteuse.. My cute and lovely french language .. !
