Hello, I found the campaign, but when war of the ring is loaded, the camera view is from below, and the real time fight does not work..... can you help me?
Can you start other War of the Ring scenarios or does the same issue occur?

Ok. Have you tried using the "fix non-starting games" option in the Edain Launcher? Make sure to make a backup of custom heroes and maps if you use them.
If that doesn't help, another possibility is that there are old leftover files in your VirtualStore. Go to \AppData\Local\VirtualStore and then see if there's a copy of your RotWK folder in there. If yes, delete its contents and see if that fixes it.
If possible, could you both join the discord? Discord.gg
I've seen this issue a couple of times but it seems to conflict with other files in the folder. I want to get some screenshots of your game folders and My ROTWK files folder to try and drill into the problem.

I get kicked out automatically when I try to do any skirmishes. Any advice?
What exactly happens? Do you get an error message?
Try a clean re-install with the correct patches (BfME 1.06, RotWK 2.01), it solves most problems.
If you don't care about your profile you can use the "fix non-starting game" button in the launcher. Otherwise disable Edain, switch all the faction in skirmish to random, move your custom heroes out of the My ROTWK Files folder and switch all WotR factions to random.

The launcher is failing to download file 13 (0.8 MB). A prompt appears about retrying to download, but then the progress bar is frozen in place...

Hi, when i play war of the ring, my game crash when i battle in rivendel how repair this?
the game works fine for me but the textures are missing i do not know what i should do can some one help me with this .
when i start the campagin the textures are missing at once what should i do .
Cannot pick custom hero with Imladris neither in skirmish nor WotR. Same thing happens in the Age of the Ring mod with the faction of Rivendell (Imladris in Edain mod).
Also i notices that it doesnot let me upgrade the armour of anorien archers.
Click on the hero name then press the key corresponding to the first letter of their name on your keyboard. This is a hardcoded bug.
Thanks. Now, only micro issues remain like the armor of the anorien archers. Many more issues found though with the Age of the Ring mod.
I am unable to confirm this bug. After purchasing the upgrade from the blacksmith the button ungreys and I can purchase the upgrade. Could you provide more details and perhaps a screenshot?
Resolved it too. It´s my bad, i bought the armour upgrade for the blacksmith and then i destroyed the blaksmith to build another structure. Did not know you need the blacksmith intact in order to upgrade the units armour
Noticed now that custom elven lord on the battlefield speaks german.... can this change?

The current version works well for me. However, under Windows 11 I have the problem that my saved games can no longer be loaded after 1-2 days. Is this error known and is there possibly a solution?
What kind of saved games? Skirmish? Campaign? Wotr?
How can I have the new designs and textures? I have downloaded and installed version 4.7 but when playing I have the same textures as in previous versions, can someone help me?
Sounds like something went wrong with your installation. Check your VirtualStore (appdata\local\VirtualStore\...) for a RotWK folder and if there are any old files in there, delete them. A clean re-installation can also help. Otherwise please head to our support forums or one of the Discord servers, giving techsupoort here is rather difficult.

mod will not work i mount the cd images but it still says no cd in rom
Try launching the game though the shortcut, not the launcher.
OMG i accidentaly delete the shortcut. how can i make a new one ?
Go to your RotWK folder and look for the lotrbfme2ep1.exe, that's what you want to create a shortcut for.

Not possible unfortunately as WotR is hardcoded to two players.

I cannot play in some maps. For example, Lorien loads and then I get an instant win. Anyone knows what could be causing this? I've tried clean installations multiple times and I have no idea what could be causing this, since it's only happening on some maps.
Could be leftover files in your VirtualStore, interference from other mods/submods or simply a bug on that specific map (or something else entirely). For easier help, join either the Discord server or go to our forums on the Modding Union. Thanks.
I believe it could be what you mentioned or something to do with the Game.dat file. I fixed this issues by simple putting the original ROTWK CD in the drive... quite odd, but now I can use Edain without issue and I can also use other mods at the same time (diff folders ofc)
