Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the game "Men of War" and some of its successors that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Hi! Impressed with the mod. Congratulations for the developers.

I can't edit a campaign that will appear in the DCG menu. I've set the date and all, but it doesn't appear for selection under the name giving.
Have searched the forum for answer, but haven't found any help.

So , how can I create an OP?

Thanks.

Thanks!

The first thing to know is that the operation editor is kind of a beta tool - I use it myself for all the operations, but I generally use it to choose the maps and set their properties, and then I save it, open the xml file in an editor, and finish the process there (for adding historical units, etc).

However, I just tested a simple op and it worked fine for me. I did the following:
1) Opened operation editor
2) clicked "Start New Op..." and selected 2 columns by 2 rows in the popup
3) entered a name in the Name textbox
4) selected a start date (1/1/1944)
5) selected an end date (12/31/1944)
6) selected player nation "Any"
7) selected computer nation "Any"
8 ) clicked "Save"
9) closed Op editor
10) started new campaign on main menu
11) selected UK
12) selected Western front 44-45 theatre
13) date is 6/6/1944 (well within the range i picked)
14) the operation appeared on the operations list as an option, voila!

I think many of these steps are not required, but if you follow them, you should at least get it working. Let me know if not. I also suggest you examine other operation xml files (if you feel comfortable with that) too see more examples of what to do...
