Half-Life 2 mod |

Named as a compliment to Hammer, DuctTape is a one-stop tool for many modding tasks. It's in alpha (pre-beta) but already has a load of useful stuff. To name some major ones:

*A VTF builder (works with MANY image formats including psd, tga, png, jpg, bmp, etc.)
*A VMT editor GUI
*A Soundcape editor with preview
*A 3D interactive QC editor/validator/preview
*Build all outdated VTF, MDL, and BSP files with the click of a button eliminating the need for batch compiling or using the command line
*Detailed GUI for customizing map building, including an automatic "error translator"
*Build log is multi-threaded/multi-core so the interface doesn't lock up (like in hammer)
*Several SMD manipulation tools, like rig/animation resizer, close holes, and some very powerful tools on the way (automatic concave collision hulls and lods)
*Access GCF counted mounted via Steams interface, just like hammer.
*Built in bug reporting and upgrade notification.
*Ubiquitous drag-n-drop support.
*100% GPL OpenSource hosted on SourceForge
*Lots of other stuff

This pretty much eliminates the need for any other third party tools e.g. VTFEdit and compilers.
