The year is 2017. The federalist Russian government has issued a law that makes any practice of communism a crime against the state. A group of men and women, still loyal to the communist regime start a rebellion. Not just any rebellion though. A rebellion that would rock the snow laden hills for many years to come. The once small group of fighters is now an army. The Russian government settled an agreement with the American government to squash the communist regime and now eastern Europe is a warzone. So pick your side. The freedom movement or the world conquering communist regime?

Russian Insurgency, the mod that which kicked off my Battlefield Mod reviewer career, thanks to the cringe reactions, and somewhat weird memes. The Replay I did was created out of fun, since the Final Mark it will be completely trashed. Since the time has come for me to write these reviews on Moddb, I had to place a mark for it. Thanks to my weird Russian language at that time, I became a meme persona somewhere in Russian internet. And for sure, I had no idea that such gameplay would blow like that, with viewer attention peaking at around 9,900 views, starting my mod reviewer career. I was 15 at that time, and playing on a 2010 PC something interesting was quite the experience. Those times were quite hard for me, but thanks to that mod, I have changed completely. The mark sadly shows how this mod suffers horribly, and I respect the developer's choice to cancel it and cease the development. A one last thank you for the morale boost and the start of my reviews!

This is a rather good mod.
Has potential, but is mostly sporadic after thoughts and tweaked pieces of work that are patched together from outside sources. The attempt at a story is just silly, but maps ideas if cleaned up and hard work was put in to them could make this mod better.
