As the Templar Order's seniormost veterans among the ranks, the former Knight Commander's Faithful were among the very first to follow their leaders into red lyrium's seductive grasp, studying and infusing themselves with the red crystal in secret fraternal rituals until the time came to wage war upon the tattered Chantry. Heeding the ancient Magister's call, these men became the Elder One's Faithful, a mockery of their old titles, and now fight alongside the General of the Red Templars and his commanders. Essentially the inner circle of the Red Templars and veterans with decades of experience to lyrium addiction, the Elder One's Faithful have mastered taking enough red lyrium to transform them, but not enough to destroy them, allowing it to massively augment their strength and vigor while never risking becoming the crystal itself. In combination with their great skill, powerful armor, and the unnatural might of red lyrium, the Elder One's Faithful are some of the most elite Red Templars on the field, capable of turning the tide of any battle and taking on dozens of times their number in order to protect their leaders.
