Every model looks more polished and well done and i like it, keep the good work on this mod! and also take your time, you really put some dedication to this.

Great. but can you add an option to disable weapon recoil? Because im on 240FPS/HZ and the shotgun moves up in like 30 fps animation. I had this in the previous version as well :)

edit:
It's not even the recoil, it looks like the screen is moving up slowly when pumping animation kicks in for no reason. There actually is no recoil when firing. Whatever it is, let us please disable it.

That's to add more impact on weapon movements and such, and make it seem more like your actually controlling a person, and not a camera. I can make the animation smoother, If that is what the problem is?

Could you maybe tell me all the weapons that have this issue? I just looked at it and the animations seem smooth enough.

As I said if you want to add realism to the weapon handling you should add it to the fire animation rather than reload only. Either both or no bobbing at all- And of course it might seem smooth for you if you play on 60 hz screen, but people play with at least 120 or 144 "visible" frames by now and that you can only get with 120hz+ screen. You cant get away with animations of 30 fps. At least not when it's right in focus of view or in this case even controlls your actual view. If it was 2 fps you could say its a kick back effect, but this just seems odd. My acutal "visible" fps are 240 and the pumping of the shotgun almost seems like heavy performance drop, or just broken animation. That's why my recommendation was to make it optional if you can. Maybe that's the better solution than making it smooth for all refresh rates (which is probably 120 ticks)

I checked all weapons and the recoil of the other weapons like pistol seem to have the same animation/ticks than the shotgun pumping, but its not as obvious as the speed seems quicker.
Maybe try doubling the ticks. Guess that would do the trick as well.

The models aren't loading for me in gzdoom

Edit: Nevermind I got it working in the Dev build of GZdoom

While I am here may I recommend adding a patch for the mod zmovement to allow for more quake like movement?

May I suggest making the smg/rifle slightly more powerful, like rather than doing 3 points of damage per hit, it does 4? It feels just to underpowered, basically making it useless compared with the dual pistols

YOU BEEN LOOKING AT MY CODE BRO? JK I don't actually care. It's to balance it out with the chaingun, if it were more powerful, It would make the chaingun obsolete. Could make the chaingun more powerful doe. Then I could consider a change.

so far i love the mod but my only issue is the monsters using doom 3 sounds feels off
would you consider making a addon that reverts them to the original sounds ?

I could make the sounds less loud and obnoxious, But addons are something I simply don't feel like doing at the moment TBH. Also the monsters use more sounds than vanilla. If more people want this, I'll maybe do it.
