theres a problem in the dual pistols, it still wants to reload even tho it cant. what i meant is that it cant shoot. also the chainsaw and the quake axe doesnt have 3d models, it would be nice if you added 3d models for the 2. sorry if you're a bit confused, english is not my 1st language
View the .pk3 file and check the errors (based on which .txt file and line it is). Change every line that contains "a_startsound" into "a_playsound". Repeat it over and over until the game starts as usual.
Supershotgun and dual pistols require loading before shooting. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but when you're empty on the chaingun, you can't switch between weapons at all. Or at least, I couldn't.
I run this mod with LZDoom 3.87a and my Doom and Doom II still in 2D sprites.... I run this mod by dragging the file to the launcher app... Am I missing something?
I think you need to add an option to disable decals and turn on a janitor. When I killed a large amount of monsters it lagged a bunch. If I could just reduce the blood and have the bodies disappear overtime it would make the mod a lot better.
Love your DOOM3D mod!!! Please read what I write about seeing how many grenades you have at any time. The mod has a loooooooooooot of potential! Thank you for sharing!!!
I´m playing it at 110 fov in a laptop, the plasmagun cuts, if you wanna make it longer it would be great, but if you don´t want I don´t mind a lot. Again, thank you for making this and for sharing it !!!!
EDIT: BIG BUG: If you finish the level, doing a punch, when you enter the new level you have not any weapons. It happened twice to me by accident.
EDIT2: I´t would be nice to have a button to quit all the dead bodys from the ground, to improve performance. Because in maps with a lot of corpses the game could lag a bit.
I was really surprised when playing this mod! I though that it was gonna be a clunky experience but it's not. I genuinely had a lot of fun playing it, I even made an account just to post this comment, keep up the good work!
It looks fantastic. I wanna be able to play it, but unlike some, I've not the privilege of owning a PC with OpenGL capabilities (hardlocked at 1.1), so I have to use either ZDooM or LZDooM. LZDooM is GZDooM without high-end OpenGL enhancements, that's really all it is.
I dunno how much it is to ask for a version that I can utilize, but an LZDooM version would be fantastic.
This mod is very broken! every weapon is invisible apart from the chainsaw and all the other 3d models like the enemies and barrels are really broken I don't really know how to show you a video but if anyone who has had this problem and has fixed it please tell me.
Great work tbh but there is still few things I must comments on:
-Monster textures needs to be more "muddy" and designs need to have that Quake 3 Arena "oomph" to them, I mean this is "late 90s" DOOM right and Quake 3 defines late 90s id Software design principles.
-Assault rifle/M4 is way too low-poly. I feel like it needs to look like Duke Nukem Forever M4 (those incomplete build releases that were leaked recently) or Blood 2 M4 or UT99 sniper rifle or the beta Half-Life M4, check those out.
-I don't know if you edited sprinting speed but it's way too fast for closed spaces and walking speed is way too slow, you need to balance them out if you edited those speed, if you didn't touch them and it only feels like that to me, I apologize lol.

the chainsaw DOES have a 3d model. The axe does not yet.

It's a REALLY long process but truly worth it.

The way reloads were disabled has broken the super shotgun since it has a reload hard-coded into it's firing cycle.
