I've had this idea for a while and have gained inspiration from another Vice City mod (Long Night) plus lately I've been unable to stop playing Doom 2.
When i saw GTA: Long Night i immediately had this idea, a DOOM version of GTA where you can free roam as you please and do certain missions either by yourself or with a team online.
I've played Doom2 online cooperatively and it is so addictive, just fighting hordes of monsters alongside other people. But i think a lot of people will agree with me when i say the graphics aren't exactly.... good.
What i want to do in our version is create a version of Vice City where the monsters have invaded the city which happens to have one of UAC's biggest laboratories situated miles beneath the city surface.
And, traditionally, you will be a UAC marine tasked with clearing the city of all monsters and investigating the lab.
There will be no crime element, just monsters and missions.
I want to include better AI so that other marines will help you if you need it and they will fight off the demons as well.
I want to include most of the traditional monsters from Doom 1 and 2 and include a few new ones from Doom3. And of course we will include all of the weapons including the chainsaw and the infamous BFG 9000..
I realise that this may be tasking, what with the models and including the new areas but i think it can be done. I just want peopleto enjoy this..

Ok this probably has been abanded since it says it hasnt been touched for a year plus he hasnt logged on for 5 months unlike me im makin mod for all doom levels in level but even though im stuck in my plans due to technicail problems at least i hav proof lmao and Doom look for my mod some time cause im askin for help an need to a bigger team to start sortin bugs out an also helpin with the mappin. so far i got 1-9 but it has lots of bugs.
anyway its a darn shame that they didnt continue this mod cause it would rock
