A masterpiece! At the moment, this is the best graphic (and not only) mod for Doom 3. Even on my not-the-best computer (1050ti 8 RAM i3 8300), it's going great. Past versions of this mod were good, but not enough and often inferior to Absolute HD and Redux, but the latest version has become better than both of them, in my opinion.

Short version (TL;DR):
-Better textures
-Interesting gameplay/mechanics.
-Weapons are not overpowered( even though the damages have been amp-ed)
-Original touches
-Some weird random small glitches (maybe because of the "impulses"
-Zero lagging of the high-res textures
...It could use better AI and sounds too


Long version:
I constantly reinstall and replay DOOM 3 once every 3-4 years, and each time i do, i try new mods to see what the fans are up to... (it always warms my heart to see good classic games that are ageless because of the fans/community, and made EVEN BETTER as the years pass.)
SO .... after testing quite a few mods, i can say that this one is among the most original and fresh.

Problems:
-I think the biggest problem would be the insane knockbacks(chaingun, plasmagun and shotgun), i found it funny and interesting at first, but after that it became quite distracting from the game, both when i fire it and see the silliness of how i trow my opponents, and when they throw me. (later in the game when i picked the plasmagun and i encountered more large places/long halls to actually have the circumstances to test these -> game became "Mr. Bean" instead of DOOM.
-"Impulses" are also weird when it comes to the rag-doll effects and throwables (to some it applies , to some it doesn't). Worst example i can offer is when i put an explosive barrel to lay a trap in one place - and a demon BARELY TOUCHES it, it sends the barrel flying toward my position, thus messing up my trap and almost getting me killed if i accidentally shoot it or when the demon shoots it. Would be interesting if it would work both ways, but i cannot throw barrels like that (i can mimic something like that if i'm sprinting and jumping at the same time, but still not "throwing" it to the power that demons do).

OH, by the way, don't get fooled by the idea that weapons are OP. When i first read the changelog, i thought , "maybe the weapon damage is too high?". It is not, it takes THREE HEADSHOTS with the pistol to kill the standard zombie on nightmare mode. And i died quite a few times already. So weapons are not a problem.
