Doom 3 Evolution is a Single-Player Game-Play Conversion Mod. It is meant to be played with original Doom 3 storyline/levels. Description
If you have experienced graphical glitches in the game- this small patch is for you. Simply delete your DoomConfig.cfg file (the one in Doom3Evolution folder) and unzip the patch in Doom3Evolution folder.

The one in Doom3Evolution. Delete the .cfg file then unzip the patch in Doom3Evolution.

I extracted the file to C:\Games\Doom 3\Doom3Evolution and the graphics are still messed up -- self-shadows look totally black with sharp outlines (a bit like cel shading :P) and the hot hose near the drop off point has a lens on top of it, showing a different view -- pretty messed up!
This is a new install of Doom 3 and ROE retail with 1.3.1 update applied.

I appended the above lines to the autoexec.cfg in Doom3Evolution.

I'm not having much luck with Doom3 mods lately (Perfected Doom 3 crashes on startup), though the default game works OK, as do most other games.
If you know anything about why Doom 3 Evolution shouldn't work on my rig, please let me know.
