How can i change the language?
Within Steam...
- Log into your Steam account
- Right click on the game from the Steam game library and choose Properties.
- Go to the Language tab
- Select the language you wish to use from the drop-down menu
- Click OK
If the game supports the language you have selected, files for that language may need to be downloaded before you can play.
Epic mod I'm really loving it :)
I tried a workaround to run the mod in steam by adding the command "+set fs_resourceLoadPriority 0 +set fs_game @UltimateHD" in the "set launch options" on steam. It seems to be working, only the pistol is invisible and has no sounds.
Will renaming the "RBDoom3BFG.exe" to the main game exe name work??
Should work.
rename Doom3BFG.exe to Doom3BFG.exe.orig or something like this for backup reasons, then copy RBDoom3BFG.exe and rename that copy to Doom3BFG.exe
Anyway, archivements won't work if that was your intention.

haha not really I'm not interested in achievements at all. I just want to do that so I can access the game directly via Steam instead of making another separate shortcut xD

So is there a way to properly uninstall this mod, or are we just stuck with deleting every doom3 related file?
Just delete everything you have extracted from the zip during installation, what's the problem? o.O
Remove at least the folder "@UltimateHD" and the files "Doom3 BFG UltimateHD.exe", "RBDoom3BFG.exe" and "start Doom3 BFG UltimateHD.bat"
Hello, is there a way I can load my previous save files with this mod? I followed the instructions correctly but I'm unable to load my previous saves from the un-modded Doom 3 BFG Edition. Thank you.
no, that doesn't work. As soon as any script is change the savegames won't load anymore. But you can at least continue to play the map you have stopped via the DEV menu... in the lower left corner of the Doom3 BFG mainmenu is a "DEV" button next to the campaign button. There you can load any map in the game. Just choose the map you were playing last time. The downside with this is, that you loose all the voicememos you've found, and the ammocount will possibly be different. If you want to continue with the absolutely same old save, you have to stick with the unmodded Doom3 BFG.

Habe das Problem mit der neuen Version 2.03 das wenn ich von den Controllereinstellungen wieder ins Hauptmenü will das Spiel einfriert und ich nur noch den Pc neu starten kann

Problem gefunden! Bitte lösche die Datei joy_360_0.cfg im @UltimateHD Ordner. (...\Doom 3 BFG Edition\@UltimateHD\joy_360_0.cfg) Das ist der schnellste und einfachste Weg das Probelm zu beseitigen.

Ist es möglich Spielerschatten in den Mod zu programmieren?

Das ist bereits möglich. Öffne die Console (mit der Taste links neben der 1) und gib folgenden Befehl ein: g_showplayershadow 1
Allerdings sind die Animationen des Schattens nicht 100% übereinstimmend mit den 1st Person Animationen. Daher sieht es manchmal eigenartig aus und ist deswegen standardmäßig deaktiviert.
