Thankfully, some guys out there — Daedolon, Hendricks266, Nukey and oasiz — managed to extract the map files from Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown CD-ROM. So for the last couple of days I have been working on putting things together for making this avaiable as an Eduke32 mod in the future.

All songs as we have seen in the DN64 levels. Ah the memories. (PS: This description was added by a Mod DB manager, I know it doesn't make sense.)

Any update to this mod? It's been 5 years since any progress has been made. Is it dead? I downloaded the current version, but the main menu is just black, with menu text...

Edit: Oh you need DUKE3D.GRP from Atomic Edition... Probably should have mentioned that somewhere....

I am trying to play Duke Nukem 64 on the latest Eduke32 release and it seems to be broken now: the intro cutscene does not play and instead, E1L1 is loaded but everything is black and you die instantly; restarting the map loads it properly, but then, I am treated to another black screen once I tried to exit the level.

Hey there i just uploaded an old version of Duke64 mod v1.32 Created by Nukey and SuperGoofy back in the 2008/2009. This mod has The Birth episode implemented in the game. Some maps are done without any sprite clipping/transparency issues, so maybe you could use that in you're later relases.

Hey there, are you still working on this mod? I hope you are, becouse its awesome. It has some visual glitches though, becouse in some levels sprites clip trought textures, like in E2M1. It kinda breaks the gameplay, becouse sometimes you can see enemies trough objects or walls, also theres some textures missing in polymer mode, like posters, fans etc, but texture clipping in more important thing to fix i think.

Yeah I'm still working on it, some issues will be fixed. Polymer is unsupported.

Sorry to bring this up right now, but E1L1 is currently unplayable. The initial drop from the rooftop fails to trigger the sector jump unless noclipping. Not sure what's causing this.

This is a fantastic mod. I haven't played the original n64 version, but when I recently tried to replay it, I couldn't get far past the first few minutes due to awkward controls. I really love the level and weapon design of the N64 version. I am glad that a mod like this exists as some of these alternate versions have some cool ideas. What we really need is a Zero Hour source mod as that game has really awkward controls.
