Scratch the first ideas I had when I first began modding Homeworld 2. This mod aims to implement ships, subsystems, and weapons that stay true to those in the original game. Diversity with uniformity, indeed. That in the case of lasers being implemented into the Hiigaran race and ion particle beam weaponry being added into the Vaygr race. No surefire release date... yet.
Anyone know what causes textures to become more pixelated in CFHodEd 4? The texture was fine before I created this screenshot and now it's a bit more pixelated. Is it some sort of hotkey? Model credits to Battlecry/TFS DEV. team.
Also thinking about modifying the missile launchers to bottom side horizontally launched pods. And with this model (from TFS v2.8), I had to retexture the entire model because it was one of the few that had the light blue and purple/pink textures in CFHodEd. I still don't know what causes that to happen because the texture is fine in-game.
