The year is 2055, more than thirty years after the events of Zero Hour, Earth suffers a catastrophic collision with meteorites. The infantry battalions of the American Confederacy are famed for their strength, attitude, and willingness to risk all for the Confederacy. The AC Barracks is the training ground for these men, where they are housed under the best possible conditions, with the best possible training. Hardy recruits are ferried to these miniature bases all over the country, where they receive basic training, shelter, weapons training, and undergo various rituals, all designed to transform them from greenhorn recruit to battle-ready soldier in as short a time as possible, the record for any squad of recruits being a measly five weeks. Once requisitioned by a command officer on the battlefield, the recruits are handed their weapons and thrown out into the harsh reality of war. The barracks is also capable of tending to wounded soldiers, with on-station medics ready in a fully equipped medical wing, ready to deal with any kind of war wound. The medical wing is located off the main barracks, as the screams of the wounded were deemed too horrible for the recruits, lest they know what they too, will someday face.

Nice design, I like how the hospital wing is not connected to the main body, and the lore fits too, although somewhat graphic...
Remind me to bang in a bit about amputees next time ;) Sorry if you felt the lore was a little graphic, I honestly hadn't figured that tone into it at all.

No it cannot. Because of Sage's limitations it would just clip with the structure when the enemy units are behind. It's just a visual feature :P .

Like i said. Don't hope for it cause it won't happen. As much as we would like to see that being implemented it's imposible to make it not clip with the structure ( unless the fire launch bone won't be on the bunker which would simply render the bunker useless again ). Sage - general's engine - simply does not support limited fire-arch weapons. They either fire straight ahead, or 360 degrees arround.
Come to think of it, why would you NEED to garrison your barracks? If it gets to a point where enemy units are within range of your barracks, you are 99% screwed. The 1% coming from a bear punching the enemy when they open their fridges =D
