Well it certainly looks like they are adding, revamping, improving literally every item, scene and texture and theyre paying attention to every detail. I appreciate your work devs but by now can you please tell us either an approximate release date OR how much progress have been done in % by now for the next release?

Thanks a lot!

Pretty much true, from the last release we were just thinking of doing some tweaks and add a few items but over time it ballooned into a near-complete overhaul of the mod from the map to items, scenes, locations, etc... Most of what's left is to equip troops and balance the mod which is very time consuming.

I see. Sounds good to me!
I'm a big fan of your other mod, Rome at War, I know that you are a great and serious modder and you won't let us down. I think that many of those who had doubts about the next release date are just a bit anxious and very hyped from the previews you guys showed which look awesome. If you have done such big changes I can understand it takes a long time but it looks like you have made quite a lot of progress, anyhow thanks for clarifying your what's left to do list to us.

Can't wait for the new version. We're all very hyped :D
Keep up the good work!

Seek&Destroy; responded already in lenght but just so you know, the person making the bascinet and the person attributing the troops equipements are not the same, and their skills are not interchangeable, so it is in fact good that while Seek&Destroy; work on polishing the last bits for release, AsherNitin is still working on making more models and updating older assets, one doesn't really impact the other and the fact that assets keep going show dedication to the project.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, but there has been MUCH more going on than we previewed. We merely were slow to preview stuff, because we are now in the late stages, namely troop equipment allocation, and the team now has a shaders expert consulting on visuals, so we got busy.

Quite a bit of impatience floating around, but the quality etc. overall from what's been showed is amazing. Hype to see this release and get some more blood flowing into Warband.

Definitely. Every single preview shown here is for the WB version. We are not working on a BL version, and most of the team is not working on any other mod either.

Just show us some ingame battle formation how these different levies and knights look when they are actually deployed.

Description

Transitional houndskull bascinet. The first quarter of the 15th century saw a shift in visor shape, from the earlier more deflective but heavier pointy houndskull visors to a lighter rounded variant. This change, like most armor innovations, begins first with great bascinets, combined with a bevor and a similarly rounded bascinet. However, it rapidly trickled down to lower tier men-at-arms, too, resulting in these rounded visors getting combined with pointed bascinets.

Made by AsherNitin.
