Deeds of Arms and Chivalry is a modification for Mount & Blade: Warband which focuses on the Hundred Years War between France and England, specifically during the early 15th Century.
Yes when i was player i was like you thinking more ladders would be cool, but becoming scener i have understand the native system allow only one main defense point and if you have another ladder the second one will be very easy to overwhelm and the siege might become really too easy. The Last Days mod created a new siege system with two ladders and a breakable door (like three sieges in one), but it's a lot a work for sceners to redo almost everything of the siege part and if you make two ladders for one castle why not for all castles you know?... If you want to put customized free to use others scenes to add diversity, that's understandable you maybe not want to pass 4 hours more on a new siege system. This mod have (more or less) only one very active and talented scener, let's not kill him. XD Maybe one day two ladders with two defense points, who knows? But people have to realize the amount of time all this modding & scening takes.
You're giving me too much credit on this one, you made this scene good enough to be usable and i just made it look prettier. Looking forward to using your future work in DAC!

There's a scene editor integrated in the game, to learn to use you need one week or two. Making good scene depends the speed of each person and how maniac you are with details. Making a good scene it's between 10h and 50hours and you can go 100hours when making huge towns. :)
is there just one ladder for sieges? would be handy if there are multible since fighting in 1 ladder sieges is pure pain and not fun

Does sceners use in-game tools to make scenes? Or do they use special tools? And how much time did it take you to make this nice scene?
