Dead Air is a total conversion for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series based on Call of Chernobyl, encompassing all aspects of the game from graphics, audio, and special effects to various gameplay and AI features. The mod evolves from the ideas started in Call of Misery, a previous project of the mod author. Major inspirations for Dead Air include projects such as NLC, MISERY, Autumn Aurora, and OGSE. Dead Air prioritises the development of the game engine’s potential, complexity of gameplay, and attention to detail, along with addressing both the quality and quantity of all content.

Would be low down on my list of priorities right now given I hardly ever play anomaly.
No point waiting for a mod when Armed Zone is already going to be available in the next update, the weapon pack is officially named ATAZ, Anomaly: The Armed Zone. At least to my understanding.

As for weapons i'd like to see being added in future updates: SR-25, AK-12, SIG MPX (and other SIG guns as well), the updated SKS models, MP7, MP9, Honey Badger (or anything else in .300 BLK really) HK417, CZ scorpion and the Jericho 941 and that's about it i think.
Hi, STG44 and others germans weapons like panzerfaust or the Raketenpanzerbüchse 54 with shield.
The AK-12 is already in Dead Air - it's just not assigned to traders or loadouts. I fixed that in the latest update. :-)
Bear in mind that weapons that use ammo that's not included in DA will take longer to implement.
The AK-12 prototype from 2012 is in DA, but the actual current AK-12 is not.

finally, thanks a lot, but the new weapons doesn't appear in the spawn menu, only if i write the name of the weapon in the spawn menu, you can add all the weapon to the menu?
I'm not entirely sure how to do this. I know there's a file somewhere that lists what items can be spawned, I just can't remember where it is.

some of the weapons that be would great is the Ash12, the 2 SKS variants, Fn FAL PARA, groza4-4a02, SA vz58, wz88 tantal, Zastava m70, CZ vz61 skorpion, mp9, sprectre.
if you can port some of these weapon it will be awesome
the mauser from taz would pretty cool. also some shotguns like MP-153 Baikal wooden stock ,Beretta 682,M37 Ithaca
and some rifles like Winchester M-70
also the sks model and animation in TAZ are waaay better that the ones that are currently in Dead air (STCoP)

the MPX have the option to detach the scope if you do that,the gun automatically become to an MP5 and if the MPX are empty the reload like an MP5 and if yet have bullets the reload is correctly
the SR25 crashes when click in the option to upgrade
the Grase gun crashes if you intall the option to attach a supressor
the fire of the barrel of the DP28 are misaligned

The MPX and misalignment issues I know about it and will be fixed.
As for missing sounds, I know nothing about that. I never touched the G43 or Mosin.

I'm using the open scopes addon for DA too. Don't know if that helps or is related to it.
The open scopes from TAZ are included within this addon.
I'm guessing the open scopes addon changes weapon configs and the scopes_16.xml file, which would make it incompatible.
Although this does remind me to change the scope texture of the AUG and G36 - thanks!
Can't you make em compatible in the next update? I don't really want to re-do my entire mod pack again because of this one small detail. Not being able to acess so many locations is kinda taking away from the fun of the weapons pack, can't even farm monolith to test the cool guns now.

There's no need for a compatibility patch. Just overwrite everything with the next update (should be up later today) and you should be fine.

Was taking a look around the TAZ screenshots page and found some cool stuff for you to add in future updates, some are more essential than others but they're all cool:
IMI Tavor CTAR-21, TAR-21, X95, HK416C, MK18 (and variants) Sig 226, GLOCK 17,18c and 20, P90, Five-seveN, more 1911's variants, 44 Magnum revolver, Galil SAR, M1 Garand, M1 carbine, Daniel Defense V5, CZ 805 Bren, SOCOM 16 M1A, Winchester M1200, .44 Auto Mag, Remington 870 (and variants) SVDK, PL14, SW500, Ruger MKIII, Winchester 1893 and R700.
Guns for all the things a stalker might want to do, from the more urban and modern side of things to the nature and hunting oriented ones, always been a big fan of hunting in these games, especially in DA, so i think some of these would be pretty cool to see and use.

It's unlikely I'll be able to add all guns from TAZ - that would be a gargantuan feat.

Right now it's just the same upgrades as the other weapons in Dead Air. That might change later.
This is great so far! So far theres at least enough weapon variety to keep me happy for now though I really do hope all the TAZ 2.0 Weapons will be added in the future.
While not all weapons may be useful to all players (especially depending on how far you've gotten in game), sometimes a ****** assault rifle is a step up from a double barrel shot gun or bolt action rifle (so long as said ****** AR is reliable enough to put multiple shots down range).
I think if we had all weapons from TAZ 2.0, it'd help to make the already interesting game Dead Air even more interesting for those who like to play with all kinds of guns and collect them to play with later (or use at a time when I feel ready and can repair them)
I think all the guns would be a little bit overkill, it would put a lot more strain on your rig too, TAZ already has plenty of performance and crashing problems. But yes i agree, variety sometimes really spices things up, would be nice to have guns that correspond with the role you want your character to take, like mutant hunting, a sneeki breeki assassin or a jack of all trades with plenty of versatility and flexibility.
HOnestly with Dead Air on max settings on Direct X 10 I'm getting 125 FPS on my INtel i5-9600K machine with 64GB RAM, Very fast SSD (so the game loads pretty fast) and a GTX 1660.
Though for some reason I could barely get 60 FPS on STALKER COP with Misery and TAZ 2.0 on high settings with Dx 9 static lighting.
That's one of the biggest things DA has going for it, it just runs smoothly like no other STALKER mod, not only that but you're also able to change almost every aspect of the game on the fly without having to restart the whole thing like 30 times like ANOMALY for example. It's a shame most people are turned off by how hardcore it is, compared to other COC-like mods at least, it has the most potential to grow IMO, (almost) everything on it is just so refined.
Actually after playing COP with Misery and TAZ, I don't mind a bit of hard core game play but I did tweak some things like I disabled the Ammo belt thing because that can get a little frustrating (and I know my brother wouldn't like it). ALSO Means that the limited space your armor has can use artifacts in containers.
ANYWAYS, for me, having lots of weapons with Dead Air will give me a reason to explore and fight so that I can get more guns and collect them.
Yes, Dead Air runs buttery smooth on my ancient rig.
Also, I actually like the hardcore aspects of DA. I can't wait for version 1.0 with the addition of magazines and pouches.
ALSO Perhaps if you don't mind putting int he effort you could at least make a seperate version for us mad lads that want all the guns and have decent machines for STALKER/DEAD AIR.
LASTLY I think it would be nice to have the roles thing and how Guns worked with Misery and TAZ in COP with the variety of ammo but I think that might be a bit outside the scope of this mod.
Adding all the weapons from TAZ isn't really feasible, but I'll add as many as I can. :-)
Can you make some of the vendors immortal? I'm tired of Dushman and Ashot dying to some random giant bloodsucker wave every time i turn my back. I can't even get the new guns because of it.
Perhaps I can make this an option in the next update.
Speaking of NPC's, it would be nice to have someone like Trapper selling hunting gear kits, knives, bolt-action rifles and a variety of shotguns for example. Or even make Nimble sell something useful again like custom variants of more common guns. That would give a reason to travel around and talk to more NPC's. I say this because some trader inventories become too bloated after some documents or disabling the scorcher.
