This mod consists of a transformation of some of Dark Crusade characteristics by adding more techs, including the powerful Veteran tech, new units and abilities that make all races different from the ones in the original Dark Crusade. Some of the new features of this mod include aircraft abilities, like thunderhawks dropping bombs on the battlefield or valkyries bombing a target. This mod is still in the early phases of development, so stay tunned for updates.

Icon work is currently lacking and so most units have the correct descriptions but lack in unique icons to describe them visually. Icons should be worked on later but currently I have struggled to find the best way to represent some of the units, specially squad leaders in a unique way that is easy to identify even on smaller icons.
Now about the units: renegades, disciples, exalted champions and HWT have been refered on previous units and not much has changed that can be currently disclosed but there is indeed a new unit to talk about, the disciple bodyguards. Disciple bodyguards are an important squad for renegade players since they allow the use of the Renegade Demagogue (which is their squad leader) and being the Demagogue the ultimate leader of Renegade operations, expect several passive bonus to be applied to troops around the Demagogue but also the benefits of the "Master of Renegades" ability which affects most Renegade units (the exception being the basilisk) once the bodyguard is recruited. "Master of Renegades" provides several important benefits, like higher morale and morale regeneration, which are proportional to the number of soldiers in each squad of Renegades. Besides these global benefits the Renegade Demagogue also possesses an aura that provides benefits to nearby troops. Basically keep the Demagogue alive and near the troops and Renegades will become a very powerful force.

In what relates to unique active abilities, Renegades now have access to Combat Drugs and Baleful Judge (Renegade Enforcer) along with Unnatural Vigour, Warp Flux and Creeping Terror (chaos psyker), abilities based on the Renegades&Heretics list in IA XIII - War Machines of the Lost and the Damned.
Starting with Combat Drugs, this ability provides bonus damage and reduces morale lost in combat for some time but due to the drugs side effects all members of the squad suffer a random amount of damage (currently between 50 and 100).
Baleful Judge is the good old execute ability from IG but with different benefits, while execute in IG favours mostly the lasgun mob, Baleful Judge benefits both melee and ranged combat capabilities, thus being useful in melee combat.
Unnatural Vigour increases the speed of units around a psyker for a short time (could be useful to reach somewhere quickly or retreat safely).
Warp Flux is similar to lightning arc from IG but focuses a bit more on morale damage and is extremely useful specially when combined with Creeping Terror.
Creeping Terror Paralyzes an enemy squad for a short duration, preventing them from moving or attacking. Although it deals no actual damage, this ability allows you to stop strong units so your weak Renegades can deal some damage or allowing you to retreat to regroup.
