CONTENTS OF THE PATCH
=====================

The patch includes a file called "PAK1.PAK". I fixed some content, more specifically the mystical "disappearing prisoners"-bug in DOD2_2.bsp.

Some people have reported their keybindings didn't go correctly (=the way they were described in the readme.txt), and the game didn't start from the menu the way it was supposed to.
Now theres new "CONFIG.CFG" and "DEFAULT.CFG", and with these files it will work, however if you have changed some key bindings already, they will be lost. BE AWARE THAT YOU CANNOT CHANGE SOME OF THE KEY BINDINGS THROUGH THE MENUS, you have to edit the .cfg file. (Don't know how? Maybe our messageboard will help).

So, unless you really know what you are doing, I suggest you just overwrite your config.cfg and default.cfg, and then see below for the keybindings.

I also added some ready shortcuts for Dawn Of Darkness. They are in "DoD Shortcuts.zip" (You might have to edit them).

Be aware that some of your old saves may not work. (Those saved in the Elvod Village)

INSTALLATION
============

Unzip the whole ZIP file into your ...\Quake2\Roarke\ -directory, it will overwrite some files.

MOVEMENT
========

Use W,A,S,D or NUMPAD 8,4,5,6 for navigating Roarke The Merciless through his adventures. Use mouse to look around.

COMBAT:
-------

Primary attack = Use 1st MOUSE BUTTON to attack with selected weapon. If using Dagger or Sword, you have to move your mouse to some direction while holding down the button.
Secondary attack = Use Q, E-keys or NUMPAD 7, 9-keys to execute a secondary attack.
Dagger = Press 1
Bow = Press 2
CrossBow = Press 3
Ancestral Sword = Press 4
Triple Flintlock = Press 5
Blunderbuss = Press 6
Dragon Balls = Press 7
Disarm = Press 0
Next weapon = / (slash)
Previous weapon = ' (The thing from outer space)

INVENTORY, CONVERSATION & INTERACTION:
--------------------------------------

Toggle inventory = Use TAB or I to turn inventory on and off
Browse inventory = Use ARROW KEYS or [ & ]
Browse conversation = Use ARROW KEYS or [ & ]
Open/Activate/Select = Use SPACE to open doors/chests, activate interactions and select things in the inventory and in conversations
Use item = Press ENTER to use the active item.
Use curing items = Press H to automatically use various curing items you may be carrying
Use shovel = Press 8 to activate shovel and 1st MOUSE BUTTON to dig
Use torch = Press 9 or T to activate torch. Make sure you have a free hand.
