DAWN takes place during 2004 just as the combine begin to invade Earth. You play the role of an average citizen woken up by a portal storm opening. Confused, you tune your television to CNN only to witness all hell break loose.
The mod will change aspects of Half-Life 2's storyline, such as the Combine and Xen creatures invading Earth at the same time.

Why the name "DAWN"?
Because the mod takes place during the beginning of the combines invasion and the end of the world as we know it.
Do I need anything special to run the mod?
Sort of. You will, of course, need Half-Life 2, but you will also need to own and have installed Counter-Strike Source. DAWN uses content from both games and since we don't want to run into any legal trouble you must own both titles.
So, what's new?
DAWN will contain new weapons (An M4A1, an old pipe, a Desert Eagle, etc.), new enemies (Bullsquid, Houndeye, etc.), and new models, textures, and sounds.
When can I play it?
When it's done.

Yo, most of you probably think this mod is dead, well its not.
DAWN is on hold for now because i am working on a secret mod that soon i'll open a new profile for it.
DAWN will be back when i'll finish my other mod (that i'm sure you gonna love ;) )

Developers say something, caus i think many people think this mod is DEAD!!!but plz not this mod is very interesting
I really hope that it's NOT dead... This is infact on of the most interesting mods for Half-life 2, and if it is dead, im even willing to continue were they stopped. Some words from the developers would be very nice!
