Crysis 1 Retexturing Project replaces the Original Textures with Hi Res Textures. (Textures from Texturelib.com, Freepbr.com, Texturehaven, CC0 Textures, Texture Ninja)
because i need to calculate. If the Texture Size on the Truck is 2048 and I make it 3 times bigger then i need to watch what i can do on a Object with 256 Texture Size. Maybe 2048 is enough, but i want to read whats on the red Label, which is impossible to read on a 256 Original Format.

why not using a 512x512 or 1024x1024 texture then ?
i hope you did not run in the memory limit trap ^^
It's maybe a problem with MIPmaps. They generated only in 256,512,1024,2048 etc size.
