One from many nice planet in Crossfire Universe. This one is located in Inner Core Sector (Dom'Kavash Territory).
Pretty! Are those volcanoes? If they are, you probably need to add some ash smoke coming from them, which spreads out and dissipates after a while. You can make it either static (for instance, using a texture or adding it to the existing one), or dynamic (particles, for example). Both have pros and cons and I won't be surprised if there is a better way to do it.
ive experimented with custom effects for planets. In one of the singleplayer missions ive "simulated" nuclear explosions all over a planets surface.
