This sound mod replaces all gunfire, handling and reload sounds and many other item sounds in Max Payne 2 (PC) with those from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

There's an alternate version for the Steyr SSG-69 (Sniper Rifle) gunfire within the files that has no bolt-action sounds. To learn how to use it, check the installation instructions.

Gameplay of the Weapon Sound Mod:
You made a good job with getting CS:GO gun sounds for Max Payne 2, but if I were you I went further and replaced original models of guns and characters. If you make some kind of CS:GO singleplayer mod for Max Payne 2 you will deserve 8/10 as minimal rate from guys who play MP2 but also like CS.

New sounds in csgo fit max payne 2 better.
Last update for this mod. Download contains loose, .ras and .mp2m files and thus, is compatible with most other mods.
The .ras file contains the new files and all other default files, as it's meant to replace the default .ras file. Updated installation instructions provided within the download.

Updated. Corrected BerettaDual, DesertEagleDual and IngramDual reload sounds and added menu sounds.
"Data" folder? Instead of MP2M file? Jeez, it's really bad work. Nobody doing "data" folder as mod in 2015 year! It's spit in the face, because "data" folder cause only problems ingame, especially when you're trying to play other mods.
The reason for this is that it's supposed to work with .mp2m files. And it does. It has been tested excessively and it works completely without problems.
"Bad work" would be if the files were in a horrible quality. Doesn't matter how they're packed. I've been playing with many .mp2m files AND this sound mod MONTHS before I've published it and there have never been any problems.
With data folder it have bugs. Someone install your mod and after it run ANOTHER mod. And what we hear? We hear your sounds in another mod. Why? Cause someone just don't pack his files into mp2m
No, that doesn't work this way. There are special rules of MP2 modding. And main rule (rule #1) - mods MUST BE packed as .ras or .mp2m archives. If not - mod is automatically goes to trash and rates as 0/10 or 1/10.
And the latter has been proven by you with an excellent example.
Giving constructive feedback is one thing, posting unreasonable bad ratings just for nothing is just a shame and misleading. Do that again and I will prevent you from posting in and rating any of my stuff forever.
