Counter-Life + blue shift + Opposing Force Thread - Counter-Life mod for Half-Life

you can use the Blue Shift maps in Counter-Life

CounterBShift

1)make sure you have won version of blue shift installed or the full steam cache of blue shift
2)download Blue Shift: Unlocked
Old.hl-improvement.com
3)install Blue Shift Unlocked
4)download Counter-Life and extract
5)open Steam\steamapps\your name\half-life or Sierra\Halflife
6)copy the folder bshift_unlocked and rename to CounterBShift
7)copy all the files from the Counter-Life folder to CounterBShift folder
8 )when you get the confirm folder replace dialog box pop up hit yes to all
9)create a shortcut .:\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 70 -game CounterBShift
10)copy liblist.gam and rename the copy of liblist.gam to liblist.bak
11) open liblist.gam up in a text editor and change the following lines

game "Counter-Life"
gamedir "Counter-Life"
startmap "c1a0d"
to

game "CounterBShift"
gamedir "CounterBShift"
startmap "ba_tram1"

9 start playing or in the console type in map ba_tram1

Counterop4

1)make sure you have won version of Opposing Force installed or the full steam cache of Opposing Force
2)download gcfscape and install gcfscape
steam 3)open opposing force.gcf using gcfscape
steam 4)extract the folder gearbox to Steam\steamapps\your name\half-life
wom 3)open c:\Sierra\half-life
won 4)copy the gearbox folder to Steam\steamapps\your name\half-life
5)rename the gearbox folder to Counterop4
6)download Counter-Life and extract
7)copy all the files from the Counter-Life folder to Counterop4
8 )when you get the confirm folder replace dialog box pop up hit yes to all
9)create a shortcut to .:\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 70 -game Counterop4
10)copy liblist.gam and rename the copy of liblist.gam to liblist.bak

note Opposing Force does not work correctly

uss darkstar Counter-Life

1)download and install Counter-Life
2)download and install uss darkstar
Manke.planethalflife.gamespy.com
3)open Steam\steamapps\your name\half-life\darkstar and copy neilm.wad + pak0.pak to
Steam\steamapps\your name\half-life\Counter-Life
9 start playing in the console type in map dsintr

Blue Shift finally works because of Blue Shift: Unlocked. But i did it a little bit different so that "Counter-Shift" shows up in my steam list.

But thanks anyways! I didn't know i needed BS Unlocked.
As for Opfor, i haven't tried that yet, but i think the AI will not work there. Is that right?
