I keep getting the recurring error with the 4.0 release:
"VM execution aborted: tried to read from address zero.
Called from CCards_Actor_SolidHelper.PostBeginPlay at CorruptionCards-v.4.0.pk3:zscript/corruptioncards/actors/tools.zscript, line 375"
I play on GZdoom 4.8.2

Hiya i have a question is it normal when you boot up a map example map of chaos overkill that half of the monster die after you pick a card and the kill count is reduced too

Is this using Brutal Doom or some sort of variation of it? If so, Brutal Doom has some jank that causes monsters to die immediately on startup. Someone made a patch to fix that. You can find it on this page: Forum.zdoom.org

One of the permanent spellcards, possibly "Monsters move slightly faster", breaks the gameplay on several Doom 2 maps, e. g. Downtown and Gotcha.

Even more, the permanent spellcard "Hell nobles are always focused on the player" completely breaks Barrels of Fun: hell knights in the second (isolated) section are activated immediately on startup and prevent passing this section without barrel explosions.
