Welcome to Conflicts of Eriador! A Medieval II submod that focuses on, as the name says, the ongoing conflicts in Eriador, as opposed to the many mods who cover the whole of Middle-Earth. The mod is set in the year 1300, Third Age, when Angmar begins its slow rise to great power. The main focus of the mod is both this faction, as well as the Kingdoms of Arnor, namely Rhudaur, Arthedain and Cardolan, yet the other factions were not neglected. Moria, still in the hands of the Dwarves, stands mighty and proud, ever clashing with the dark forces of the Misty Mountains and Gundabad. The Elves, still numerous and travel the lands. Gondor, the giant of the south, gazes north with a watchful eye as it safeguards the road against the Daen Skaduriachta, the Dhai Uarioch and the Gainnhalthas. With many new units, models, map mechanics and more!

This reminds me of the more "realistic" and sober yet pleasant design of the elven units in the Fourth Age Total War mod for Rome Total War. Seeing elven units whose armour are not looking like barocco sculptures or Warhammer elves is a good surprise, continue the hard work on this mod (and if the modders don't advance as quickly in their work, or if the designs do not please you, i wish to remind that they do this on their precious free time without any revenue coming out from this, a free time they might lack in case they have issues in their lives or financial hardship. So if the design is not exactly the one you appreciate the most, or that you find that this mod is taking too much time to be released, take the afforementioned elements into account).
